It also allows you to delete these IP addresses from the server.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"display-table\">Display table<\/h2>\n<p>If your server is not in NAT mode, you will see a table with the following columns:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Interface<\/em> \u2014 Displays the name of the Ethernet port to which the IP address is assigned.<\/li>\n<li><em>IP<\/em> \u2014 Displays the IP address (for example, <code>10.5.3.333<\/code>).<\/li>\n<li><em>Notes<\/em> \u2014 Displays notes about the type of IP address and its users (for example, <code>Main\/shared IP for: user, user2, and user3<\/code>).\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>If you assign an IP address to more than 10 users, the interface will only display the first 10 usernames and the number of additional users.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li><em>Actions<\/em> \u2014 You can delete unused IP addresses from this column.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"1-to-1-nat-display-table\">1-to-1 NAT display table<\/h2>\n<p>If your server is in NAT mode, you will see a table with the following columns:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><em>Interface<\/em> \u2014 Displays the name of the Ethernet port to which the IP address is assigned.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Local IP<\/em> \u2014 Displays the local IP address (For example, <code>192.168.4.10<\/code>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Notes<\/em> \u2014 Displays notes about the type of  IP address  and its users (for example,  <code>Main\/shared IP for: user, user2, and user3<\/code>).<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>If you assign an  IP address to more than 10 users, the interface will only display the first 10 usernames and the number of additional users.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout callout-danger\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Warning:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>A value in the <em>Notes<\/em> column indicates an assigned IP address that you cannot delete.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Public IP<\/em> \u2014 Displays the public IP address to which the local IP address is mapped (for example, <code>10.5.3.333<\/code>).<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>If the server cannot map the address to a public IP address, then the column will display <code>Not Routable<\/code>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Warnings<\/em> \u2014 Displays warning and confirmation icons (for example, a warning icon will appear in this column if the public IP address is not routable).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Actions<\/em> \u2014 The following actions are available in this column:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Validate<\/em> to validate a public IP address.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Edit<\/em> to edit the public IP address.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Delete<\/em> to delete an IP address from the table.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"validate-a-public-ip-address\">Validate a public IP address<\/h3>\n<p>If a local IP address does not properly map to a public IP address, or the local IP address maps to the wrong public IP address, validate the address to correct this problem.<\/p>\n<p>To validate and map a local IP address to the correct public IP address, click <em>Validate<\/em> in the row that corresponds to the IP address that you wish to validate.<\/p>\n<p>The validation process sends an outgoing connection from the local IP address to the <code>http:\/\/myip.cpanel.net\/v1.0\/<\/code> server. This server responds with the public IP address from which it received the request. The system then maps the local IP address to this public IP address.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n        If the system cannot route an address, a warning message will appear and the <em>Public IP<\/em> address column will display the message <code>Not Routable<\/code>.\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 id=\"edit-a-public-ip-address\">Edit a public IP address<\/h3>\n<p>To edit a public IP address in the table, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Edit<\/em> in the row that corresponds to the IP address that you wish to edit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Enter the public IP address that you wish to map to the local IP address.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Save<\/em> to save the new IP address, or click <em>Cancel<\/em> to cancel the edit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>You cannot use a public IP address more than once.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You can only edit one IP address at a time.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"delete-an-ip-address\">Delete an IP address<\/h2>\n<div class=\"callout callout-danger\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Warning:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>You cannot delete an IP address that is currently in use.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>To remove an IP address from the table, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Delete<\/em> in the row that corresponds to the IP address that you wish to delete.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Confirm Delete<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Valid for versions 82 through the latest version Version: 82 Overview This feature displays the IP addresses that are bound to your server.
