For example, you can use this feature to specify the address of a third-party spam filter service.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n        The system stores these entries in the <code>\/etc\/ips.remotemail<\/code> file as a line-separated list.\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 id=\"add-mail-server-ip-addresses\">Add mail server IP addresses<\/h3>\n<p>To add remote mail server IP addresses, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Click the <em>Remote Mail Server IPs<\/em> tab.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Enter the IP addresses that you want to add in the available text box, one address per line.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Save<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>To remove remote mail server IP addresses, delete the entries that you no longer want to use from the text box.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"remote-nameserver-ip-addresses\">Remote nameserver IP addresses<\/h3>\n<p>This feature allows you to specify the IP addresses of remote nameservers that your system uses. For example, you can use this feature to allow users to create remote parked or addon domains. To do this, specify the nameservers\u2019 IP addresses. You <strong>only<\/strong> need to add one of the nameservers for the domain, not all of them. If you add the IP address of the domain itself (if different from the nameserver\u2019s IP address) the system will <strong>not<\/strong> authorize that domain.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>The system stores these entries in the <code>\/etc\/ips.remotedns<\/code> file as a line-separated list.<\/li>\n<li>If you use remotely-clustered DNS nameservers, you <strong>must<\/strong> manually add the IP addresses.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 id=\"add-remote-nameserver-ip-addresses\">Add remote nameserver IP addresses<\/h3>\n<p>To add remote nameserver IP addresses, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Click the <em>Remote Name Server IPs<\/em> tab.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Enter the IP addresses that you want to add in the available text box, one address per line.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Save<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>To remove the remote nameserver IP addresses, delete the entries that you no longer want to use from the text box.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"the-allow-remote-domains-option\">The Allow Remote Domains option<\/h3>\n<p>To allow users to create remote parked or addon domains while they override the nameservers that the <em>Configure Remote Service IPs<\/em> interface lists, enable the <em>Allow Remote Domains<\/em> option in WHM\u2019s <em>Tweak Settings<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home  &gt;&gt; Server Configuration &gt;&gt; Tweak Settings<\/em>).<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-danger\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Warning:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>For security reasons, we <strong>strongly<\/strong> recommend that you do <strong>not<\/strong> enable this option.
