The TTL specifies how long a DNS server caches a record before it requests an update from the authoritative nameserver, measured in seconds.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"set-zone-ttl\">Set Zone TTL<\/h2>\n<p>To set the value for TTL, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Select the zone(s) that you wish to update from the menu.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the TTL in the text box.\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n        This value <strong>must<\/strong> be a positive integer.
