This is useful, for example, if you no longer host a domain on your server or another DNS server is authoritative for the domain.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-danger\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Warning:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>DNS zones that reside on other Write-only DNS servers in a DNS cluster will <strong>not<\/strong> appear in this interface.<\/li>\n<li>If you delete a DNS zone, the cPanel user <strong>must<\/strong> configure that domain\u2019s email addresses to use the local mail exchanger. They can configure this setting in cPanel\u2019s <em>Email Routing<\/em> interface (<em>cPanel &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Email &gt;&gt; Email Routing<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"delete-one-zone\">Delete one zone<\/h2>\n<p>To delete a single DNS zone, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Select a domain name from the <em>Choose Zones to Delete<\/em> menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click <em>Delete<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <em>Delete<\/em> on the next interface to confirm that you wish to delete the selected zone.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"delete-multiple-zones\">Delete multiple zones<\/h2>\n<p>To select multiple zones, use command-click in macOS\u00ae or control-click in Windows\u00ae to select the zones from the menu.<\/p>\n<p>If the zones that you wish to delete are together in the list, click the first desired zone and then shift-click the last zone to select all of the zones in between.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Valid for versions 82 through the latest version Version: 82 Overview This feature allows you to delete DNS zones from your server.
