Overview<\/h2>\n

By default, your system configures Apache to respond to any request on any IP address that you add to the server. The Reserved IP Address Editor<\/em> interface allows you to configure Apache to ignore HTTP requests on certain IP addresses. Also, the system will not assign those IP addresses to new accounts.<\/p>\n

In order to reserve an IP address, the IP address must<\/strong> already exist on the server. You can add IP addresses to your server with WHM\u2019s Add a New IP Address<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> IP Functions >> Add a New IP Address<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Add an IP address<\/h2>\n

To add an IP address to, or remove an IP address from, the reserved IP address list, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

    Select the Reserved checkbox<\/em> for to the IP address that you wish to reserve.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Click Save<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Apache will not<\/strong> use the IP addresses that you select.<\/p>\n

    Restart Apache<\/h2>\n

    After you add an IP address to the reserved IP address list, you must<\/strong> rebuild and restart Apache in order for the changes to take effect.<\/p>\n
