For example, if you selected the <em>CURRENT<\/em> tier in WHM\u2019s <em>Update Preferences<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Server Configuration &gt;&gt; Update Preferences<\/em>), this feature will upgrade your server to the latest CURRENT build.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>WHM displays the server\u2019s cPanel &#038; WHM version in the top right corner of the interface. You can alternately run the <code>\/usr\/local\/cpanel\/cpanel -V<\/code> command to view version information.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>To see the latest available cPanel &#038; WHM version in your chosen release tier, visit our httpupdate page.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If the upgrade process encounters blockers, it will stop and send a warning message. For more information, read our Upgrade Blockers documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If automatic updates are disabled on your server, click <em>Enable automatic updates<\/em> to reenable them.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"how-to-update-your-cpanel-software\">How to update your cPanel software<\/h2>\n<p>To update your cPanel &#038; WHM software, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>If you wish to force a reinstallation of the software, regardless of whether WHM detects that your system is up-to-date, select the appropriate checkbox. This can be useful if corrupt files exist and you wish to reinstall them.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Click to Upgrade<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>If you use Safari\u00ae on iPad, the browser may display text that is too small to read.
