To exclude a cPanel account from your backups, set the <em>Enable<\/em> toggle to <em>Disable<\/em>. The system saves your changes automatically.<\/p>\n<p>To disable or enable all cPanel account backups, click <em>Account Actions<\/em> and select the appropriate action.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"legacy-backups\">Legacy backups<\/h2>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>We <strong>strongly recommend<\/strong> that you migrate your legacy backups to the current account backup system. For more information, read the <em>Backup System Migration<\/em> documentation.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>If your system still contains legacy backups, the <em>Legacy<\/em> column appears in the <em>Backup User Selection<\/em> interface. cPanel accounts that use legacy backups will have the <em>Enable<\/em> toggle set by default. A cPanel account may have both legacy and account backups enabled at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>To exclude a cPanel account from using legacy backups, set the <em>Enable<\/em> toggle to <em>Disable<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>When you exclude a cPanel account from using legacy backups, the action only prevents a cPanel user from creating new legacy backups.
