The <code>root<\/code> user specifies the privileges for these accounts. For example, you can modify access to only allow resellers to suspend or unsuspend the accounts that they manage.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>cPanel users can access the cPanel interface and have access to manage most aspects of a website. The <code>root<\/code> user and the reseller who owns the cPanel account can specify the account\u2019s privileges.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>If a reseller is over their account creation limit, they can\u2019t create new accounts.<\/li>\n<li>You <strong>must<\/strong> specify nameservers for the server in WHM\u2019s <em>Basic WebHost Manager\u00ae Setup<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Server Configuration &gt;&gt; Basic WebHost Manager\u00ae Setup<\/em>) or you will not be able to create new accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>Your interface may differ from what this document describes. Some users may not have access to certain features. If you need access, contact your system administrator.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"domain-information\">Domain Information<\/h2>\n<p>The <em>Domain Information<\/em> section defines basic settings for a user\u2019s account.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>New users need the username and password that you enter here to log in to their accounts.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>All accounts require the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><em>Domain<\/em> \u2014 The domain name for the account (for example, <code>example.com<\/code>).<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>You can create a user to represent a subdomain of a domain that you own. For example, if you own the <code>example.com<\/code> domain, you could assign the <code>username.example.com<\/code> subdomain to a new account for the <code>username<\/code> user.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You <strong>cannot<\/strong> create a separate account for the <code>www.<\/code> subdomain. The system automatically removes the <code>www.<\/code> subdomain from the account name.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Username<\/em> \u2014 The username for the new account.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>The username <strong>must<\/strong> be unique and contain 16 characters or fewer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The username <strong>must<\/strong> contain only lower-case letters and numbers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The username <strong>cannot<\/strong> start with a number or the <code>test<\/code> string.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The username\u2019s first eight characters <strong>must<\/strong> be unique if you plan to use MySQL\u00ae or PostgreSQL\u00ae. This prevents issues with database prefixing and account transfers. This restriction does <strong>not<\/strong> apply to servers that run MariaDB\u00ae.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>You can disable database prefixing by selecting <em>Off<\/em> for the <em>Require a username prefix on names of new databases and database users<\/em> setting in the <em>SQL<\/em> section of WHM\u2019s <em>Tweak Settings<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Server Configuration &gt;&gt; Tweak Settings<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>For more information, read our Reserved, Invalid, and Misconfigured Usernames documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Password<\/em> \u2014 The password for the new account.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Re-type Password<\/em> \u2014 The password you entered in the previous textbox.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Strength<\/em> \u2014 This tells you the strength of your password. Click <em>Password Generator<\/em> to generate a strong password.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>The system evaluates the password that you enter on a scale of 100 points. <code>0<\/code> indicates a weak password, while <code>100<\/code> indicates a very secure password. Some hosting providers require a minimum password strength.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A green password strength meter means that the password is equal to or greater than the required password strength.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>For more information, read our How to Determine Password Strength documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Email<\/em> \u2014 The contact email address for the new account.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"ssl-certificates\">SSL certificates<\/h4>\n<p>When you create an add-on, parked, or main domain or subdomain, the system attempts to secure it with an existing certificate. If none exist, the system generates a self-signed certificate. If you enable AutoSSL for the account that owns the new domain, the system adds a request for an AutoSSL certificate. The system will install it when it becomes available.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"uid-and-gid-settings\">UID and GID settings<\/h4>\n<p>The <code>\/etc\/login.defs<\/code> file contains the system accounts\u2019 UID settings. We do <strong>not<\/strong> support customizing the <code>\/etc\/login.defs<\/code> file with new settings. cPanel &#038; WHM uses the following UID conventions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>On servers that run AlmaLinux 8, CentOS 7 and 8, CloudLinux\u2122 7 and 8, or RHEL 7, the system creates new system UIDs and GIDs with a number between <code>201<\/code> and <code>999<\/code>. The system also creates new account UIDs and GIDs with a number between <code>1000<\/code> and <code>60000<\/code>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>On all other supported operating systems, the system creates new account and system UIDs and GIDs with a number between <code>0<\/code> and <code>500<\/code>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"package\">Package<\/h2>\n<p>The <em>Package<\/em> section allows you to assign a package to a new account. A package defines the account\u2019s limitations. For example, a package can determine how much disk space the new account can use or how much data the account can transfer. Some hosting providers use the term \u201cdomain templates\u201d to describe this concept.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>If <code>root<\/code> users do not grant resellers the <em>Account Modification (edit-account)<\/em> privilege then the reseller <strong>must<\/strong> specify a package when they create a new account. The <code>root<\/code> user can assign this privilege to resellers in WHM\u2019s <em>Edit Reseller Nameservers and Privileges<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Resellers &gt;&gt; Edit Reseller Nameservers and Privileges<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Creating an account that will exist on a linked server node (for example, a mail child node) <strong>requires<\/strong> a package with the API Tokens feature. If the selected package does <strong>not<\/strong> have it, the system will <strong>not<\/strong> create the account. For more information about packages, read our Packages documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><em>Choose a Package<\/em> \u2014 Allows you to assign an existing package. To view the package\u2019s configuration hold your cursor over the magnifying glass icon (<img src=\"https:\/\/ssdsunucum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/glass-icon.jpg\" alt=\"magnifying glass icon\" title=\"glass-icon\">).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Select package options manually<\/em> \u2014 Allows you to edit package settings manually. The following additional checkbox and sections will appear:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>The <em>Save Manual Settings as a Package<\/em> checkbox.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The <em>Manual Resource Options<\/em> section.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Additional checkboxes in the <em>Settings<\/em> section.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The <em>Package Extensions<\/em> section, if you selected a package that uses package extensions from the <em>Choose a Package<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Save manual settings as a Package<\/em> \u2014 Saves your manually-selected settings as a new package. If you select this, the <em>Package Name<\/em> and <em>Feature List<\/em> checkbox will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Package Name<\/em> \u2014 Names the new package you wish to create.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>You <strong>must<\/strong> enter a package name in this text box.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Feature List<\/em> \u2014 Allows you to select a feature list. Feature lists define which features are available to users. To edit or create a feature list, use WHM\u2019s <em>Feature Manager<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Packages &gt;&gt; Feature Manager<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"account-enhancements\">Account Enhancements<\/h2>\n<p>Account Enhancements allow you to control whether a cPanel account can access a third-party application, without modifying the account\u2019s package settings. Select the checkbox for each Account Enhancement that you wish to enable for the cPanel account.<\/p>\n<p>If you have not installed any third-party applications that use Account Enhancements, this section will not appear.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"manual-resource-options\">Manual Resource Options<\/h2>\n<p>The <em>Manual Resource Options<\/em> section appears when you select the <em>Select package options manually<\/em> checkbox in the <em>Package<\/em> section.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>Before you set quotas, consider the type of content that your users intend to host.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>You can set the following settings in the <em>Manual Resource Options<\/em> section:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><em>Disk Space Quota (MB)<\/em> \u2014 The maximum amount of space on the server\u2019s hard drive for the new account, in megabytes (MB).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Monthly Bandwidth Limit (MB)<\/em> \u2014 The maximum amount of data that the new account can transfer each month, in megabytes (MB).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Max FTP Accounts<\/em> \u2014 The maximum number of FTP accounts for the new account.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Max Email Accounts<\/em> \u2014 The maximum number of email accounts for the new account.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Max Quota per Email Address (MB)<\/em> \u2014 The maximum size that the account can define when it creates an email account, in megabytes (MB).<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>When you adjust this value it does <strong>not<\/strong> affect <strong>existing<\/strong> email accounts.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Max Mailing Lists<\/em> \u2014 The maximum number of mailing lists for the new account. The Mailman application controls mailing lists.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Max SQL Databases<\/em> \u2014 The maximum number of each available type of SQL database. For example, if you set this value to <code>5<\/code> and allow MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, the account can create up to five MySQL databases and up to five PostgreSQL databases.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Max Sub Domains<\/em> \u2014 The maximum number of subdomains that the new account may create.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>A value of <code>0<\/code> <strong>prevents<\/strong> subdomain creation.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Max Parked Domains<\/em> \u2014 The maximum number of parked domains (aliases) that the new account may create.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>A value of <code>0<\/code> <strong>prevents<\/strong> parked domain creation.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Max Addon Domains<\/em> \u2014 The maximum number of addon domains that the new account may create.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>A value of <code>0<\/code> <strong>prevents<\/strong> addon domain creation.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Max Passenger Applications<\/em> \u2014 Enter the maximum number of the account\u2019s Passenger applications.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Maximum Hourly Email by Domain Relayed<\/em> \u2014 The maximum number of emails that a domain can send per hour. This setting sets the same limit for every domain on the account. For more information, read our How to Set Email Send Limits documentation.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>A value of <code>0<\/code>  allows unlimited outbound emails.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Maximum percentage of failed or deferred messages a domain may send per hour<\/em> \u2014 The maximum percentage of failed or deferred messages that a domain can send before your server temporarily blocks outgoing mail from that domain.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>The system examines outgoing and local mail over the previous hour to determine whether the domain exceeds the limit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>When a domain exceeds the limit, it <strong>cannot<\/strong> send mail until it no longer exceeds the limit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"settings\">Settings<\/h2>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>To access <strong>all<\/strong> settings in this section, you <strong>must<\/strong> select <em>Select Options Manually<\/em> under the <em>Package<\/em> heading.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>You can set the following settings in this section:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><em>Dedicated IP<\/em> \u2014 Assigns the new account a static IP address. If you want other accounts to share an IP address you must configure them to use the same IP address. We <strong>strongly<\/strong> recommend this setting for reseller accounts.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>If you select this when you create a package, you <strong>cannot<\/strong> change this setting later.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>When you select this checkbox, the <em>Select the IP Address<\/em> menu appears. You can assign an IP address or allow the system to assign an IP address to the account by selecting <em>Auto Assign<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Unreserved IP addresses populate this menu. For more information, read our Show Edit Reserved IPs documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Shell Access<\/em> \u2014 Allows the user access to the server through the command line interface.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>CGI Access<\/em> \u2014 Allows the new account to execute CGI scripts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Digest Authentication for Web Disk<\/em> \u2014 Enables Digest Authentication support for Web Disk access over a clear text or unencrypted connection.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>You <strong>must<\/strong> enable this if your server uses a self-signed certificate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You <strong>must<\/strong> enable this for users with Windows Vista\u00ae, Windows\u00ae 7, and Windows\u00ae 8 operating systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>cPanel Theme<\/em> \u2014 Assigns the account\u2019s theme. You can select the default style for new accounts in WHM\u2019s <em>Customization<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; cPanel &gt;&gt; Customization<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Locale<\/em> \u2014 Assigns the new account\u2019s language.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Enable Apache SpamAssassin\u2122<\/em> \u2014 Enables or disables Apache SpamAssassin\u2019s spam filters on the new account.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>To deselect this checkbox, you <strong>must<\/strong> set the <em>Apache SpamAssassin\u2122: Forced Global ON<\/em> setting to <em>Off<\/em> in WHM\u2019s <em>Exim Configuration Manager<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Service Configuration &gt;&gt; Exim Configuration Manager<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Enable Spam Box<\/em> \u2014 Enables or disables spam box filtering for the new account.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>The system delivers spam messages to the account\u2019s inbox when you <strong>disable<\/strong> this setting. You <strong>must<\/strong> enable Apache SpamAssassin to use this feature.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"mail-routing-settings\">Mail Routing Settings<\/h2>\n<p>These settings allow you to specify how to route mail for the new account.<\/p>\n<p>Select one of the following settings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><em>Automatically Detect Configuration (recommended)<\/em> \u2014 Automatically detect which setting to use. We <strong>recommend<\/strong> this setting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Local Mail Exchanger<\/em> \u2014  Accept mail locally for the new domain.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Backup Mail Exchanger<\/em> \u2014 Configure the server to be a backup mail exchanger for this domain.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Remote Mail Exchanger<\/em> \u2014 Do not accept mail locally for this domain.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Mail child node<\/em> \u2014 Select a linked cPanel &#038; WHM mail child node server from the menu to handle the new account\u2019s mail functionality.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>You can only select this setting if an active cPanel &#038; WHM mail child node server link exists on the server.<\/li>\n<li>This option is <strong>only<\/strong> available for <code>root<\/code> and resellers with <code>root<\/code>-level privileges.<br \/>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"package-extensions\">Package Extensions<\/h2>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>You <strong>cannot<\/strong> add or remove package extensions while creating an account. To use a different set of package extensions, you <strong>must<\/strong> use one of the following methods:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Add a new package with the desired extensions in the <em>Add a Package<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Packages &gt;&gt; Add a Package<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>Use API calls to modify the package extension data for an existing package.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>If the package that you select contains package extensions, you will see the <em>Package Extensions<\/em> section. To view package extensions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Select an existing package from the <em>Choose a Package<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Select the <em>Select Options Manually<\/em> checkbox to modify the settings for the associated package extensions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Any settings that you can edit will appear below each extension\u2019s name.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>For more information about your extension\u2019s settings, consult the third-party software\u2019s documentation.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"reseller-settings\">Reseller Settings<\/h2>\n<p>Resellers sell cPanel accounts that your server hosts. Resellers own the accounts that they create, and can modify these accounts in the WHM interface.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-danger\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Warning:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>Only grant reseller accounts the amount of access that they need. Also, only grant them the ability to create the types of accounts that they need. <strong>Reseller access is only one step away from <code>root<\/code> access. Create reseller accounts carefully<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Make the account a reseller<\/em> \u2014 Makes the account a reseller account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>Reseller accounts are not required. You may wish to create reseller accounts if you intend to host from multiple servers.  Hosting from multiple servers will decrease your overall workload.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Make the account own itself (i.e., the user can modify the account)<\/em> \u2014 Allows resellers to modify their own hosting packages, which include quotas and limits. It also causes the system to log bandwidth to that reseller\u2019s account, rather than to the <code>root<\/code> account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"dns-settings\">DNS Settings<\/h2>\n<p>The <em>DNS Settings<\/em> section allows you to enable the new account\u2019s DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) and Sender Policy Framework (SPF) records. You can also configure which nameservers the new account\u2019s domain will use.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>The <code>enable_spf_dkim_globally<\/code> script allows you to enable DKIM and SPF for accounts that exist on the server. It also allows you to create the appropriate DNS records for their domains.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><em>Enable DKIM on this account<\/em> \u2014 DKIM allows the account to associate a domain name with email messages that it sends. The system will attach a digital signature to the header. A recipient\u2019s mail transfer agent will verify the signature through DNS. This allows a recipient to confirm the message came from the account\u2019s listed domain. It also helps reduce the chances that mail filters will mark the account\u2019s message as spam.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>This will override the server-wide DKIM setting that you set in WHM\u2019s <em>Tweak Settings<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Server Configuration &gt;&gt; Tweak Settings<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Enable SPF on this account<\/em> \u2014 SPF allows a recipient mail server to verify the domain in the <code>From:<\/code> field of a message. This reduces the chance that a mail recipient\u2019s spam filters will mark a message as spam. (Ignore locally specified nameservers.)<\/em> \u2014 Allows a different server to host the nameservers for this account. This allows the new account\u2019s domain to begin propagating.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>The nameservers that you select for the domain will appear in the <em>Nameservers<\/em> list.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Overwrite any existing DNS zones for the account<\/em> \u2014 Checks for existing DNS zones that may conflict with the DNS zones you add. If the system finds a conflict, it will overwrite the existing DNS zone. This allows the new account\u2019s domain to begin propagating.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><em>Nameservers<\/em> \u2014 This section displays the current nameservers for this account. These allow a visitor to find a domain on the internet. If you select the <em>Use the nameservers specified at the Domain\u2019s Registrar. (Ignore locally specified nameservers.)<\/em> checkbox, this will display the domain\u2019s registrar nameserver. This displays your server\u2019s nameservers by default.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"write-only-dns-server-clusters\">Write-only DNS server clusters<\/h4>\n<p>If you set a server in a DNS cluster to the write-only role, WHM will not check whether a DNS zone exists before you create an account. Because of this, it is possible to create the same domain name on two or more of these servers. If this occurs, the servers will compete for updates to that domain.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"create-the-account\">Create the account<\/h2>\n<p>After you set the settings for the account, click <em>Create<\/em> to create the account. The interface will display a confirmation message that contains the account\u2019s settings<\/p>\n<p>To log in to the account\u2019s cPanel interface, click <em>Go to cPanel<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"visitor-experience\">Visitor experience<\/h3>\n<p>Visitors to the account\u2019s website will see one of the following items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>The default website page template.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Custom EasyApache 4 script overrides.
