This document demonstrates how to create an Alibaba Cloud account.<\/p>\n

Create the account<\/h2>\n

To create an Alibaba Cloud account, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

  1. \n

    Navigate to the Alibaba Cloud web site.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Click Free Account<\/em>. A new interface will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Select your region.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Enter your email address.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Enter a password and confirm it.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Select the checkbox to agree to Alibaba\u2019s Membership Agreement, Privacy Policy, Product Terms and Terms of Use.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  7. \n

    Click Confirm<\/em>. A Verification<\/em> window will appear.<\/p>\n

      To verify your new account via email, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

      1. \n

        Click Send<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      2. \n

        Check your email for a message with a verification code.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

      3. \n

        To verify your new account via your smartphone, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

        1. \n

          Click Use phone<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        2. \n

          Enter your phone number.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        3. \n

          Click Call Now<\/em> to receive the verification code via phone or click Send Message<\/em> to receive it via a text message.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

        4. \n

          Enter the verification code.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        5. \n

          Click Verify<\/em>. The Basic Information<\/em> interface will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        6. \n

          Select your account type. For a business account, select Enterprise Account<\/em>. For an personal account, select Individual Account<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        7. \n

          Fill in your billing information.<\/p>\n

            To verify your phone number, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

            1. \n

              Click Send<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            2. \n

              Check your phone for a message with a verification code.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            3. \n

              Enter your code and click Verify<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

            4. \n

              Select the checkbox if you do not wish to receive calls to discuss deals and offers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            5. \n

              Click Submit<\/em>. The Add a Payment<\/em> interface will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Set up payment method<\/h2>\n

              To purchase service from Alibaba, you will need to add a payment method to your account.<\/p>\n

                To add a credit or debit card to your account, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

                  \n
                1. \n

                  Click Add<\/em>. The Add Payment Method<\/em> interface will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                2. \n

                  Enter your card information in the Card information<\/em> section and click Submit<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                3. \n

                  A success message will appear. Click Free Trial<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

                4. \n

                  To add a PayPal account to your account, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

                    \n
                  1. \n

                    Click Bind<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                  2. \n

                    Click Add Now<\/em>. The interface will direct you to the PayPal website to complete billing information.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                  3. \n

                    A success message will appear. Click Free Trial<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
