{"id":513,"date":"2021-07-23T12:31:50","date_gmt":"2021-07-23T12:31:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ssdsunucum.com\/blog\/how-to-purchase-cloudlinux\/"},"modified":"2021-07-23T12:31:50","modified_gmt":"2021-07-23T12:31:50","slug":"how-to-purchase-cloudlinux","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ssdsunucum.com\/blog\/how-to-purchase-cloudlinux\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Purchase CloudLinux\u2122"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<div class=\"col-md-9\">\n<div class=\"flex-column flex-md-row article-header\"><\/div>\n<hr>\n<h2 id=\"overview\">Overview<\/h2>\n<p>CloudLinux\u2122 offers a secure version of Linux that provides advanced functionality for shared hosting environments. cPanel &#038; WHM servers allow you to buy a license and install CloudLinux from WHM\u2019s <em>Home<\/em> interface.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>Hosting providers can disable the alert for their licensed servers from Manage2\u2019s <em>Update Company Information<\/em> interface (<em>Manage2 &gt;&gt; Company &gt;&gt; Update Company Information<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"purchase-license\">Purchase license<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"purchase-from-whm\">Purchase from WHM<\/h3>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>We added the integrated installation process in cPanel &#038; WHM version 82 to the following interfaces:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WHM\u2019s <em>MultiPHP Manager<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Software &gt;&gt; MultiPHP Manager<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>WHM\u2019s <em>EasyApache 4<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Software &gt;&gt; EasyApache 4<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4 id=\"initiate-the-license-purchase-process\">Initiate the license purchase process.<\/h4>\n<p>On the server for which you wish to buy an CloudLinux license, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Log in to WHM as the <code>root<\/code> user or as a reseller account with <code>root<\/code>-level privileges.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Navigate to WHM\u2019s <em>Home<\/em> interface.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>You can also access the installation option in the following interfaces:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WHM\u2019s <em>MultiPHP Manager<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Software &gt;&gt; MultiPHP Manager<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>WHM\u2019s <em>EasyApache 4<\/em> interface (<em>WHM &gt;&gt; Home &gt;&gt; Software &gt;&gt; EasyApache 4<\/em>). You can find the upgrade option in the PHP Versions section of the interface.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>At the top of the <em>Home<\/em> interface, click <em>Upgrade to CloudLinux<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>If the CloudLinux banner does not appear, one of the following conditions exists on your server:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Your server does not support CloudLinux (for example, servers that run Amazon Linux).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Your hosting provider has disabled CloudLinux purchases.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Your server could not connect to the cPanel Store.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 id=\"log-in-to-the-cpanel-store\">Log in to the cPanel Store.<\/h4>\n<p>If you have already logged in to your cPanel Store account, the system will request access to this account. Verify that the interface displays the correct cPanel Store username and server name. Then, click <em>Allow Access<\/em>. A new interface will appear.<\/p>\n<div class=\"callout callout-info\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Note:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>To log in as a different cPanel Store account, click <em>Sign In as a Different User<\/em>. Then, perform the necessary steps to log in to the desired cPanel Store account.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4 id=\"verify-and-complete-your-purchase\">Verify and complete your purchase.<\/h4>\n<p>When you buy CloudLinux through the WHM interface, the system automatically selects the appropriate license type for your server. It also detects the IPv4 address to license. Verify your license order and accept the legal agreements. Enter or select the desired payment information, and then click <em>Pay Now<\/em>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>After the cPanel Store processes your order, a confirmation message will appear. You will also receive an invoice email from the cPanel Store.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If the cPanel Store experiences problems with your order, an error message will appear. You may receive emails from cPanel Customer Service to help you resolve the issue.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"installation\">Installation<\/h4>\n<p>After you complete your purchase, your browser will return to WHM and start the CloudLinux installation. After the installation is complete, you will receive a <em>Success<\/em> message.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"purchase-from-manage2\">Purchase from Manage2<\/h3>\n<div class=\"callout callout-warning\">\n<div class=\"callout-heading\">Important:<\/div>\n<div class=\"callout-content\">\n<p>To buy an CloudLinux license through Manage2, you <strong>must<\/strong> be a cPanel Partner.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4 id=\"log-in-to-manage2-and-enter-the-required-license-information\">Log in to Manage2 and enter the required license information.<\/h4>\n<p>Log in to your Manage2 account. Perform the following steps to add the CloudLinux package:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Navigate to Manage2\u2019s <em>Add License<\/em> interface (<em>Dashboard &gt;&gt; Licenses &gt;&gt; Add License<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Use the available text boxes and menus to specify the server\u2019s <em>IP address<\/em>, <em>Group<\/em>, and <em>Package<\/em>. Then, click <em>Add License<\/em>. A confirmation message will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 id=\"installation-1\">Installation<\/h4>\n<p>CloudLinux is now ready to install. For instructions on how to install CloudLinux, visit the CloudLinux documentation.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"purchase-from-the-cpanel-store\">Purchase from the cPanel Store<\/h3>\n<h4 id=\"log-in-to-the-cpanel-store-1\">Log in to the cPanel Store.<\/h4>\n<p>Log in to your cPanel Store account, and then navigate to the <em>Cart<\/em> interface.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"add-cloudlinux-to-your-cpanel-store-cart\">Add CloudLinux to your cPanel Store cart.<\/h4>\n<p>You <strong>must<\/strong> add CloudLinux to your cart with a valid IP address. To do this, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Add a Product<\/em>. The menu will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Select <em>Partner Add Ons<\/em>. The interface will refresh and display the <em>Select a Product<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Under <em>Product Type<\/em>, click the <em>Select a Product<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Select the desired <em>CloudLinux<\/em> license type. If you already own a cPanel License, you should select <em>CloudLinux for cPanel<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Enter your valid IP address in the <em>IP Address<\/em> text box. If you select the <em>CloudLinux for cPanel<\/em> license type, enter your cPanel &#038; WHM server\u2019s licensed IP address. The interface will refresh and display the price and sub total.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Review and Checkout<\/em>. The <em>Review &#038; Checkout<\/em> interface (<em>Cart &gt;&gt; Review &#038; Checkout<\/em>) will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 id=\"complete-your-purchase\">Complete your purchase.<\/h4>\n<p>To complete your purchase, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Select one of the following payment options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Stored credit cards<\/em> \u2014 Pay with a previously used card.<\/li>\n<li><em>Add a New Credit Card<\/em> \u2014 Pay with a new card.<\/li>\n<li><em>PayPal<\/em> \u2014 Pay with a PayPal\u00ae account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Accept the terms and conditions of the <em>EULA<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click <em>Purchase Now<\/em>.
