Overview<\/h2>\n

ImunifyAV provides additional security by scanning for malware on your server. If ImunifyAV finds any malware, it notifies the user in the Files<\/em> tab of the ImunifyAV<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> Plugins >> ImunifyAV<\/em>). You can install ImunifyAV for free from WHM\u2019s Security Advisor<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> Security Center >> Security Advisor<\/em>). You can also buy a license for ImunifyAV+ or Imunify360 for even more advanced security features.<\/p>\n

How to install imunifyAV<\/h2>\n

On the server where you want to install ImunifyAV, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

    Log in to WHM as the root<\/code> user or as a reseller account with root<\/code>-level privileges.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Navigate to WHM\u2019s Security Advisor<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> Security Center >> Security Advisor<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    In the Install ImunifyAV to scan your websites for malware.<\/em> alert, click Install ImunifyAV<\/em>.<\/p>\n

    Important:<\/div>\n

    If the ImunifyAV<\/em> alert does not<\/strong> appear in the list of security alerts, one of the following conditions exists on your server:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Your server does not<\/strong> support ImunifyAV.<\/li>\n
    • You are using a trial account.<\/li>\n
    • You are not<\/strong> a root<\/code> user or a reseller account with root<\/code>-level privileges.

      A new tab will open and show you the installation status. This installation may take a few minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      After the installation is complete, you will see a success message. You can either click Go back<\/em> or close the tab.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      You can access ImunifyAV from the Plugins<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> Plugins<\/em>).<\/p>\n
