This article provides instructions to set up a cPanel email account on an iOS\u00ae or Android\u2122 device.<\/p>\n

You can find your email account\u2019s settings (for example, username, incoming server, and outgoing server) in the following locations:<\/p>\n

    cPanel\u2019s Set Up Mail Client<\/em> interface (cPanel >> Home >> Email >> Email Accounts<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The Webmail interface.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    The welcome email that your administrator sent you.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      Tap Settings<\/em>. Generally, the Settings<\/em> icon appears in one of your device\u2019s main screens. The Settings<\/em> menu will appear.
      \n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Tap Passwords & Accounts<\/em> in the Settings<\/em> menu. The Passwords & Accounts<\/em> menu will appear.
      \n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Tap Add Account<\/em> in the Accounts<\/em> menu. The Add Account<\/em> menu will appear.
      \n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      Tap Other<\/em> in the Add Account<\/em> menu of mail account types. The Other<\/em> menu will appear.
      \n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    5. \n

      Tap Add Mail Account<\/em> in the Other<\/em> menu. The New Account<\/em> interface will appear.
      \n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Enter your account information and tap Next. Enter the following information in the New Account<\/em> interface\u2019s text boxes:<\/p>\n

      • In the Name<\/em> text box, enter the name that you wish to use for the email account.<\/li>\n
      • In the Email<\/em> text box, enter your email address.<\/li>\n
      • In the Password<\/em> text box, enter the password for the email account.<\/li>\n
      • In the Description<\/em> text box, enter a description for the email account.<\/li>\n
      • Tap Next<\/em> to proceed to the next screen in the New Account<\/em> interface.

        Select a mailbox type and verify information. Use the toggle at the top of the screen to select a mailbox type. Verify all of the information for your account.<\/p>\n

        We recommend that you select the IMAP mailbox type. If you select the POP3 mailbox type, the mobile device\u2019s mail client will download all of the account\u2019s email messages, and then remove the messages from the server. You will not<\/strong> be able to access those messages from any other mail client.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

        Enter the following information in Incoming Mail Server<\/em> and Outgoing Mail Server<\/em> text boxes:<\/p>\n

        • In the Host Name<\/em> text box, enter the domain for the email account.<\/li>\n
        • In the User Name<\/em> text box , enter your email address.<\/li>\n
        • In the Password<\/em> text box , enter the password for the email account.<\/li>\n
        • Tap Next<\/em> to proceed to the next screen in the New Account<\/em> interface.

          Tap the Notes<\/em> toggle to disable the Notes application for the account. Then, tap Save<\/em> to complete the account setup process.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Swipe up from the bottom of your device and tap the Settings<\/em> icon.
              \n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              In the Settings<\/em> menu, tap on Accounts<\/em>. The Accounts<\/em> interface will appear.
              \n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Tap on Add Account<\/em>. The Add an account<\/em> interface will appear.
              \n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              In the Add an account<\/em> interface, tap Personal (IMAP)<\/em>.
              \n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            5. \n

              In the Enter your email<\/em> text box, enter your full email address. Tap Next<\/em>.
              \n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            6. \n

              Enter your password in the Password<\/em> textbox. Tap Next<\/em>. This will open the Incoming server settings<\/em> Interface.<\/p>\n

              Tap the show password icon () to ensure that the password is correct.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

              Your Username<\/em> and Password<\/em> will be automatically filled with your previously entered information.<\/p>\n

              • In the Server<\/em> textbox, enter the host name information.

              • Tap Next<\/em>. The Outgoing server settings<\/em> interface will appear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

                Your Username<\/em> and Password<\/em> will be automatically filled in with your previously entered information.<\/p>\n

                • In the Server<\/em> textbox, enter the host name information.
                  \n<\/li>\n
                • Tap Next<\/em>. The Account options<\/em> interface will appear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

                  Enter the following information in the Account options<\/em> interface. you may set your sync frequency and email notifications.<\/p>\n

                  • Select how often your email syncs to the server from from the Sync frequency<\/em> menu options.<\/li>\n
                  • To get notifications when email arrives, check the Notify me when email arrives<\/em> checkbox.<\/li>\n
                  • To automatically sync email for this account, check the Sync email for this account<\/em> checkbox.<\/li>\n
                  • To automatically download attachments when connected to Wi-Fi, check the Automatically download attachments when connected to Wi-Fi<\/em> checkbox.

                  • Tap Next<\/em>. The confirmation page will appear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

                    Tap Next<\/em>. Your mail client is now ready.
