Overview<\/h2>\n

If you are installing a new instance of cPanel & WHM on to a server, you are eligible for a 15-day trial license. This will allow you a chance to test the product prior to purchasing a full license for your server.<\/p>\n

This document explains the two methods for signing up for a trial license.<\/p>\n

Activating during Getting Started<\/h2>\n

To sign up for a trial license for cPanel & WHM during the Getting Started in WHM process within WHM, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n

    After accepting the End User License Agreement, the interface will display a \u201cGet Started with a Free cPanel Trial!<\/em>\u201d message.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Click Log in<\/em>. The cPanel Store will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Log in to your cPanel Store account. If you do not have one, you can register for an account.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Once successfully logged in, you will be redirected back to the WHM interface. You will see a green check mark next to Activate Trial License<\/em> if the activation was successful.<\/p>\n

    \n You will receive an email for an order for the 15-day trial license. The license is free and you will not be charged.\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  5. \n

    Your server is now ready to be used. Click Server Setup<\/em> to finish setting up WHM.<\/p>\n

    Using the form<\/h2>\n

    To sign up for a trial license for cPanel & WHM using the trial form, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n

      After installing cPanel & WHM on your server, visit the cPanel Products Trial Form<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Fill out the form with the following required information:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Email<\/em><\/li>\n
      • Country<\/em><\/li>\n
      • Job title<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n

        Click Submit<\/em>. A new interface will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Select the Subscriber consent<\/em> box to consent to receiving email communications. This will allow you to receive the email regarding your free trial license.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Select the I\u2019m not a robot<\/em> box.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Click Submit<\/em>. A new interface will appear that states \u201cThanks for signing up!<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Check your email for an email from list@info.cpanel.net<\/em> with the subject of Install Your Free Trial of cPanel & WHM<\/em>.<\/p>\n

        \n You must wait for the email to arrive prior to completing the next step.\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

        Run the following command found in that email:<\/p>\n

        cd \/home && curl -o latest -L https:\/\/securedownloads.cpanel.net\/latest && sh latest\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
