Overview<\/h2>\n

The WordPress Toolkit<\/em> feature allows you to easily install, configure, and manage WordPress\u00ae. This feature is available in both a Lite<\/em> and Deluxe<\/em> version. The WordPress Toolkit Lite<\/em> version installs by default, while the WordPress Toolkit Deluxe<\/em> version requires that you purchase a license.<\/p>\n

After you install the WordPress Toolkit<\/em> plugin, you can access this feature in WHM\u2019s WordPress Toolkit<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> Plugins >> WordPress Toolkit<\/em>). If enabled, cPanel users can access this feature in cPanel\u2019s WordPress Toolkit<\/em> interface (cPanel >> Home >> Applications >> WordPress Toolkit<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Configure server software requirements<\/h3>\n

You can use the following interfaces to configure your server\u2019s WordPress Toolkit<\/em> plugin software requirements:<\/p>\n

    To update your server\u2019s version of MySQL\u00ae to 5.7 and later, use WHM\u2019s MySQL\/MariaDB Upgrade<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> SQL Services >> MySQL\/MariaDB Upgrade<\/em>).<\/p>\n

    Install WordPress Toolkit<\/h2>\n

    As of cPanel & WHM version 92, the nightly cPanel & WHM update process detects whether WordPress Manager<\/em> is installed on the server. If WordPress Manager<\/em> is installed, the update process will install WordPress Toolkit<\/em>.<\/p>\n

    The system automatically installs the PHP-FPM Service for cPanel Daemons<\/em> when the WordPress Toolkit<\/em> is installed. The system also sets the PHP-FPM Service for cPanel Daemons<\/em> to enabled when the WPTK is installed, updated, or removed from the server.<\/p>\n

      The WordPress Toolkit<\/em> plugin is only<\/strong> compatible with the following operating systems and cPanel & WHM versions:<\/p>\n

      • The CentOS 7, CentOS 8, CloudLinux\u2122 6, CloudLinux 7, CloudLinux 8, AlmaLinux 8 operating systems.<\/li>\n

        The WordPress Toolkit<\/em> plugin requires a PHP memory_limit<\/code> value of 128 MB or higher. You can set this limit in WHM\u2019s MultiPHP INI Editor<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> Software >> MultiPHP INI Editor<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Feature Showcase<\/h3>\n

        When a root<\/code> user or a root<\/code>-enabled reseller logs in to the server, the WordPress Toolkit<\/em> plugin will appear in the Feature Showcase<\/em>. To install the WordPress Toolkit<\/em> plugin via the Feature Showcase<\/em>, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

            • WordPress Toolkit Fixed<\/em> for Partners \u2014 This license is available in Manage2 to partners who have signed a WordPress Toolkit license agreement.<\/li>\n
            • WordPress Toolkit Fixed<\/em> for Direct customers \u2014 Direct customers can purchase this license in the cPanel Store.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              Manage2<\/h3>\n
              You can manage your WordPress Toolkit<\/em> license via the Manage2<\/em> dashboard.<\/p>\n

                    In the menu, select Partner Add Ons<\/em>. The interface will refresh and display the Select a Product<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                    Under Product Type<\/em>, select WordPress Toolkit Deluxe<\/em> from the Select a Product<\/em> menu. The interface will refresh and display the required WordPress Toolkit Deluxe<\/em> information.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                    Under IP Address<\/em>, enter your server\u2019s IP address in the text box.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
                  6. \n
                    Enter the desired number of accounts in the Number of Accounts<\/em> text box.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                    Click Review and Checkout<\/em>. A new interface will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                    Proceed through the checkout process.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                    Modify a license<\/h4>\n

                    • License upgrades occur immediately. The cPanel Store charges you the prorated upgrade cost at the time of the upgrade.<\/li>\n
                    • License downgrades occur on the first day of the next month. The cPanel Store will charge you the new amount at the time of the next invoice.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
                      To modify a WordPress Toolkit Deluxe<\/em> license in the cPanel Store, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n
                        \n

                        Navigate to the cPanel Store and click Account Log In<\/em> to log in to your cPanel Store account.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
                      2. \n
                        Navigate to the Manage License<\/em> interface (My Account >> Manage Licenses<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
                      3. \n
                        Locate your WordPress Toolkit Deluxe<\/em> license.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
                      4. \n
                        Under Actions<\/em>, click the arrow icon (\"The) to display the menu.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                        Click View\/Modify Account Limit<\/em>. A new window will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
                      6. \n
                        Click Yes<\/em> to modify your account limit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                        Enter the desired number of accounts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
                      8. \n
                        Click OK<\/em>. The interface will automatically add the new license count to the cart.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                        Update a license on the server<\/h2>\n
                        After you add or make changes to a WordPress Toolkit<\/em> license, the system runs the \/usr\/local\/cpanel\/bin\/wpt_license<\/code> script. This script immediately retrieves and refreshes the license to apply those changes.<\/p>\n
                        If the script does not<\/strong> apply the license changes, run the following script as the root<\/code> user:<\/p>\n
