Overview<\/h2>\n

This document explains how to create and delete a demo account. These accounts allow users, such as potential customers, to navigate the features of cPanel & WHM. The users will not be able to make changes to any files or settings.<\/p>\n

How to create a demo account<\/h2>\n

To create a new demo account, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Log in to WHM.<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to WHM\u2019s Create a New Account<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> Account Functions >> Create a New Account<\/em>).<\/li>\n
  3. Enter a domain name in the Domain<\/em> text box.<\/li>\n
  4. The Username<\/em> text box will auto-populate or you can create a custom username.<\/li>\n
  5. Create a custom password or use the Password Generator<\/em> feature.<\/li>\n
  6. Enter a contact email address in the Email<\/em> text box.<\/li>\n
  7. Click Create<\/em> to use default settings, or choose any desired settings.<\/li>\n
  8. Navigate to WHM\u2019s Manage Demo Mode<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> Account Functions >> Manage Demo Mode<\/em>).<\/li>\n
  9. Select the account that you created.<\/li>\n
  10. Click Modify<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  11. Click Enable<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How to delete a demo account<\/h2>\n

    To delete a demo account, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

    1. Navigate to WHM\u2019s Terminate Accounts<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> Account Functions >> Terminate Accounts<\/em>).<\/li>\n
    2. Select the demo account that you wish to delete.<\/li>\n
