Overview<\/h2>\n

This interface allows you to control a reseller\u2019s access to the server\u2019s IP addresses. <\/p>\n

Note:<\/div>\n
\n You can share an IP address between multiple resellers, but you can only dedicate<\/strong> an IP address to one user.\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Open Delegation<\/h2>\n

The Open Delegation<\/em> option grants a reseller access to all of the available IP addresses on the server. This option is selected by default.<\/p>\n

To allow a reseller access to all of the available IP addresses on the server, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

  1. \n

    If more than one reseller exists on the server, select the desired reseller from the menu and click Submit<\/em>. A new interface will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Click Open Delegation<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Click Save<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If the function succeeds, the following message will appear (where example represents the user):\n<\/p>\n

    The reseller \"example\"<\/span> now has access to any free IPs on the server.<\/span><\/code><\/pre>\n<\/div>\n
    Restricted Delegation<\/h2>\n
    The Restricted Delegation option restricts a reseller to specific IP addresses on the server. When a reseller has restricted access to certain IP addresses, the selected IP addresses are delegated<\/strong> to that reseller.<\/p>\n
    To restrict a reseller\u2019s access to specific IP address or addresses on the server, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n
      \n
    1. \n
      If more than one reseller exists on the server, select the desired reseller from the menu and click Submit<\/em>. A new interface will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    2. \n
      Click Restricted Delegation<\/em>. A menu that lists IP addresses will appear. <\/p>\n
      \n
      Note:<\/div>\n
      \n        The interface labels the server\u2019s IP addresses as delegated<\/em> or dedicated<\/em>. You can delegate<\/strong> an IP address to multiple resellers, but you can only dedicate<\/strong> an IP address to one user.\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    3. \n
      Select the IP address or addresses that you wish for the reseller to use.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    4. \n
      Click Save<\/em>. A new interface will appear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      If the function is successful, you will see the following message (where example<\/code> represents the user): <\/p>\n
