Overview<\/h2>\n

This interface allows you to log in to a user\u2019s cPanel interface to purchase an SSL certificate for them through cPanel\u2019s SSL\/TLS Wizard<\/em> interface (cPanel >> Home >> Security >> SSL\/TLS Wizard<\/em>). The interface displays a list of cPanel accounts on the server and their primary domain names.<\/p>\n

This interface automatically enables the following required features to purchase and install SSL certificates from cPanel\u2019s SSL\/TLS Wizard<\/em> interface (cPanel<\/em> >> Home<\/em> >> Security<\/em> >> SSL\/TLS Wizard<\/em>) for the user:<\/p>\n

    CAA records<\/h3>\n

    Certificate Authority Authentication (CAA) records in the domain\u2019s zone file restrict which Certificate Authorities (CA) may issue certificates for that domain. If no CAA records exist for a domain, all CAs can issue certificates for that domain. If conflicting CAA records already exist, remove the existing CAA records or add one for the desired CA.<\/p>\n

    For example, a CAA record for Sectigo would resemble the following example, where example.com<\/code> represents the domain name:<\/p>\n

    You can manage CAA records through WHM\u2019s DNS Zone Manager<\/em> (WHM >> Home >> DNS Functions >> DNS Zone Manager<\/em>) or through cPanel\u2019s Zone Editor<\/em> interface (cPanel >> Home >> Domains >> Zone Editor<\/em>).<\/p>\n

    Purchase a certificate<\/h2>\n
    To purchase a certificate, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

    1. Locate the domain for which to purchase an SSL certificate and click Go to cPanel<\/em>. A message will appear in the upper right corner of the interface.<\/li>\n
    2. In the message, click Purchase SSL<\/em>. The system will redirect you to cPanel\u2019s SSL\/TLS Wizard<\/em> interface (cPanel >> Home >> Security >> SSL\/TLS Wizard<\/em>).<\/li>\n
    3. Follow the directions in our SSL\/TLS Wizard<\/em> documentation to purchase and install the SSL certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      • Use your own credentials to log in to the cPanel Store, not<\/strong> the cPanel user\u2019s credentials.<\/li>\n
