Use this interface to edit the locales on your server.<\/p>\n

\n After you use this interface, you must<\/strong> run the \/usr\/local\/cpanel\/bin\/build_locale_databases<\/code> script from the command line. If you do not run this script, your changes will not<\/strong> appear in the cPanel interface until the next time that the upcp<\/code> script runs.\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

To edit a locale offline, download the locale file from WHM\u2019s Locale XML Download<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> Locales >> Local XML Download<\/em>). After you make the desired changes, upload the file in WHM\u2019s Locale XML Upload<\/em> interface (WHM >> Home >> Locales >> Locale XML Upload<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Locale Editor – Bulk Mode<\/h2>\n

The Bulk Mode<\/em> editor allows you to edit any of a locale\u2019s phrases.<\/p>\n

To edit a locale\u2019s phrases, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

    Select the desired locale from the Locale<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n

    The \u2603 cPanel Snowmen \u2603 – i_cpanel_snowmen<\/em> locale is not<\/strong> for general use. Theme customizers and third-party developers can use this locale to test cPanel & WHM\u2019s localization system against their customizations.<\/p>\n

    Select a theme from the Theme<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Click Go<\/em>. A new interface will display.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Click Edit<\/em> under the phrase that you wish to edit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Edit the phrase in the Value<\/em> text box.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Click Save Changes<\/em> to save your changes, or click cancel<\/em> to cancel changes.<\/p>\n

    \n Click Revert to Default Value<\/em> to undo changes or edits to a specific phrase.\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Non-Standard Locale Configuration<\/h2>\n

    This tool allows you to configure data for a non-standard locale. A non-standard locale is a language with no data in the CLDR. The system adds the prefix i_<\/code> to the names of these locales. These tags are standard ways to create, identify, and work with non-standard locales.<\/p>\n

    To configure a non-standard locale, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

      Select a locale from the Locale<\/em> menu and click Go<\/em>. <\/p>\n
