Overview<\/h2>\n

This interface allows you to duplicate a locale in to a standard locale or a non-standard locale.<\/p>\n

  • A standard locale is a language with data in the Unicode Common Locale Data Repository (CLDR).<\/li>\n
  • A non-standard locale is a language with no data in the CLDR.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Copy a locale into a standard locale<\/h2>\n

    To copy a locale into a standard locale, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

      Select the original locale from the Duplicate Locale<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n

      The \u2603 cPanel Snowmen \u2603 – i_cpanel_snowmen<\/em> locale is not<\/strong> for general use. Theme customizers and third-party developers can use this locale to test cPanel & WHM\u2019s localization system against their customizations.

      Select Standard locale<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Select a locale from the Standard locale<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Click Duplicate<\/em>. The system will redirect you to a new interface.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    5. \n

      Click Click here to download<\/em> to download the duplicate in XML format, or click upload it here<\/em> to edit the copy\u2019s XML.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Copy a locale into a non-standard locale<\/h2>\n

      To copy a locale into a non-standard locale, perform the following steps:<\/p>\n

        Select Non standard locale<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Enter a name for the copy, prefixed with the i_<\/code> tag, in the appropriate boxes.<\/p>\n

        An i_<\/code> tag is a standard way to create, identify, and work with a non-standard locale. It consists of a code prefixed with the letter i<\/code>, followed by an underscore ( _<\/code> ).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

      4. \n

        Select the options from the Fallback Locale<\/em>, Number Formatting<\/em>, and Character Orientation<\/em> menus.<\/p>\n

        When an i_<\/code> tag\u2019s lexicon does not have a phrase, the tag will reference the locale that is set to Fallback<\/em> to find the phrase there.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

        Click Duplicate<\/em>. The system will redirect you to a new interface.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
